The Context

From Static Posters to Dynamic Spatial Intelligence

The Problem

Weddings, galas, and corporate banquets have historically depended on rigid printed seating posters, foam boards, and manual escort cards. These physical artifacts are expensive to produce, impossible to edit when last-minute RSVP shifts occur, and create catastrophic congestion at entrance doors as hundreds of guests crowd around a single board.

Once inside, guests have no spatial orientation to locate their assigned table in massive ballrooms, requiring manual intervention from venue coordinators.

The Solution

We engineered Seat'd as an end-to-end digital ecosystem. Event organizers gain a visual CAD workspace with real-time drag-and-drop seating, family grouping, and AI blueprint digitization via Claude 3.5 Sonnet.

For guests, a zero-friction mobile web application allows instant QR lookup, predictive search autocomplete, party check-in, and an interactive floor plan with their specific table pulsing with an animated beacon glow.

Built directly in vanilla JavaScript, the 2D CAD editor delivers a 50-operation undo/redo history stack, marquee multi-selection, and tools to place and style architectural elements: banquet tables, dance floors, bars, stages, cake tables, and restrooms. An asynchronous Netlify background function dispatches blueprint photos to Claude 3.5 Sonnet to synthesize clean vector SVG code automatically.
